Letter 1

In Letter One, players receive a mysterious message from a conservationist living on a remote Caribbean island. She explains that she has recently noticed people digging and snooping around the island, even though no one is supposed to be there. One day, she catches intruders in the act, digging a hole in the sand.

Inside the hole, she discovers an old letter dating back to the 1700s. Strangely, the letter appears to be connected to the players themselves. The pirate note speaks of hidden treasure and hints that the players may be descendants of a long-lost pirate. Now, the quest is in their hands—they must uncover the truth and follow the trail of clues.

What’s Included in Letter One:

  • A two-page story letter
  • Two necklaces
  • An old pirate note containing a puzzle
  • A photograph of the island

Letter 2

In Letter Two, a scientific research lab known as the Wreck Lab contacts the players with exciting new information. Inside a larger package, the lab explains that they have analyzed the mysterious pirate letter. Their findings confirm something extraordinary: the players are indeed related to the pirate.

The letter reveals the next steps in the quest and shares more details about the legendary pirate who is said to have buried a hidden treasure. With this new evidence, the adventure deepens, and the players are drawn further into the mystery.

Answer

Players will first need to solve the pig pen cipher on the back of the pirate poem.

The pig pen cipher around the octpus/kraken will spell out "Check the map." The following sentence below the BEWARE statement, says “The first letter of each line holds the key; the poem will help ye see.”

Next players will need to record the first letter of each line of the poem. This will spell out "Moonwater Hallow," which is a location on the map.

Letter 3

In Letter Three, players receive an ominous message from a powerful real estate developer who builds luxury hotels and resorts. He reveals his intention to purchase Coconut Island and expresses concern that the players’ treasure hunt may interfere with his plans.

His letter hints at rising tension and suggests that someone is watching the players’ progress. As the mystery unfolds, the players must decide how much they want to reveal about their discoveries.

  • A corporate brochure from the developer’s company

Puzzles in Letter Three:

The Wreck Lab deployed a plane to capture aerial images of the treasure’s secret location using state-of-the-art technology. Unfortunately, Leviathina interfered, scrambling the images and making it harder to locate the treasure. Now, it’s up to the players to piece together the clues.
