The Team
The Secret Letter Club was created by two brothers with a shared belief: stories can shape the next generation for the better.
Sam is a creative at heart. With a background in Film from York University, he discovered early on the power of storytelling to spark imagination and curiosity. He has won awards, worked on marketing campaigns for major corporations, and, in his most recent professional role, inspired children to get involved in sports. Storytelling has always been his way of connecting, teaching, and motivating others.
Ben holds a master’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto and is deeply committed to leaving the planet better than he found it. Through his work with non-profits and government, he has seen firsthand how important it is to inspire young people to care for the world around them. He has also volunteered to help a young Ukrainian immigrant learn English, reinforcing his passion for education and community.
Growing up, the brothers spent countless hours reading books, watching movies, and exploring the outdoors—turning forests into imaginary worlds filled with pirates, ninjas, and lost civilizations. Those adventures shaped their creativity, problem-solving skills, and love of learning. Time spent outside also planted an early seed: the desire to make the world a better place.
Today, they bring those same values to The Secret Letter Club. Each personalized story is designed to encourage critical thinking, creativity, and a meaningful connection to nature. Children are invited to solve clues, uncover secrets, and engage with the world beyond screens.
The Secret Letter Club is what they wished existed when they were young—a personalized adventure that inspires imagination while showing children that stories can create real-world impact through meaningful donations and positive change.
Kids want to learn, but they also want to have fun. By combining both, we can leave them excited for the future.
